In 2010,yoyo factory released the first real Premium model in over a year: The ROCKstar. The ROCKstar had a comfortable modern shape, high grade 7075 alloy, and a new, heavier weight distribution that made this yo-yo unlike anything else in the line. For the next ROCKstar, they decided to take elements of the ROCKstar and combine them with elements of one of our other most popular yo-yos: the Genesis. The 2012 ROCKstar gets the comfortable shape from the original ROCKstar, with a new weight distribution, a new tumble-finished alloy and a new laser mark/color scheme.
